Trainwreck (WIP), Home Stretch

Since this is the final for the intro to modeling class, there is no texturing at the moment. I feel like I need to add just a little bit more here and there to really complete the composition. Hope you guys like how its turning out!

Toon Link

More practice with my Bamboo tablet and Paint Tool Sai has lead to this. One of the most popular characters in video games, Link has been the conduit into the realm of Legend of Zelda. This is my first piece with the aforementioned tools. I hope to improve and create more work of this kind.

GTM's grind

GTM, or Great Teacher McMackin, is our modelling teacher who has put us through a grind in order to learn the basic tools of 3DMax Studio. This is the final tutorial for the intro modelling class.

Promotional poster for Batman Origins

I aim to update at least 3 times a week with different knick-knacks and projects that I have in my growing portfolio. Here is a 2D image of a promotional poster for Batman Origins using images from Google and putting it together with Photoshop. It's my first poster from last term, but I figured I need to update this blog.

First update of the video game career.

Hello there friends. My name is Melvin. I am a student going to school for video game design. This choice came after a failed stint in the medical field. I've always liked to explore my creative side by means of different projects and presentations. This is the first time I could really focus my energies into doing visual work. This is a work in progress 6 weeks into 3D modelling. It is a "mech" for my final in this class. The premise is that it must be a heavily detailed machine utilized all the techniques we have learned in this into class.
